Max Fredericks might be the hardest working musician in Darwin. A singer, guitarist and songwriter who plays around eight shows a week, solo and with his band, across most venues in and around the Top End as well as further afield in Australia. That workload keeps a performer sharp in a way rehearsal never quite does. His band also recorded one of his originals, Is it over?, in Studio 2 at Abbey Road in London, which is a long way from a Darwin pub in the best possible sense.
