Six people, two lead singers, and a setlist built almost entirely out of songs your guests already know the words to. Max Zero play classic rock and 80s party covers around Melbourne, with Steve Pisani and Kate Nielsen out front, Michael Santagati on lead guitar, Dave Burlew on rhythm and lead plus backing vocals, Jack Macauley on drums and Trent Conway on bass. Think Eagle Rock, Bow River, April Sun in Cuba, Brown Eyed Girl, Fortunate Son, Ballroom Blitz and Are You Gonna Be My Girl. Crowd participation isn't a bonus here, it's the point. They bring their own PA to keep the day simple, and they'll always take a sound check if you can spare the time.
