Mayan

The Mark of Cain's intensity, Cog's atmosphere, Butterfingers' energy and the melodic side of The Smashing Pumpkins, all fed into something Mayan can call their own. The players are experienced and multi-instrumental, with decades between them across metal, punk, electronica and solo acoustic work, which makes the live show harder to predict than most. There is a purpose behind it too: they want to help rebuild Brisbane's live music culture and get back some of what the city's late-90s scene had.
