Meera Belle

Opera, pop, jazz, Latin, dance and music theatre. Meera Belle moves between all of them, and the venues on her CV show it: solo performances at the Royal Albert Hall, at Glastonbury, aboard the QE2, and at Sydney's City Recital Hall, plus work on television and in theatre as both an opera and cabaret artist and as an actress. Her Karen Carpenter show, Close To You, debuted at the Sydney Fringe Festival and later packed out the City Recital Hall in 2014. With Ruth McCance she also created Blossoming, about the life and music of Blossom Dearie, which sold out at Sydney's Foundry 616 jazz club.
