Musical director, choir leader and singer, Mel Searle works across a wide spread of Melbourne rooms: jazz clubs, festivals, community events, corporate nights and weddings. Her jazz duo held a regular spot at the Atrium Bar inside Crown Casino. Away from her own gigs she's directed choral groups and a church band, and for the past ten years she's led the choir and ensemble for the Manningham Carols by Candlelight, an event that draws a crowd of roughly 10,000. She sings as a featured vocalist there too. Good fit for cocktail parties, concerts, private functions and corporate events.
