Melbourne Club Band play live music at company functions, and the line-up scales from an acoustic duo up to a full party band depending on how big the night is and how much of it involves dancing. Music director Quinn McHugh leads the group and picks the players. Because the band is built around corporate work rather than adapted to it, they're used to the awkward bits of a function: speeches cutting through a set, a room that only fills up after dinner.
