Melissa Tkautz

Sydney's Melissa Tkautz built a career that runs across music, television and stage rather than settling into one lane. Her breakthrough came through the role of Nikki Spencer in the television series E-Street, a part that led into her recording career and the single Read My Lips. That song went to number one and picked up an ARIA award, and further hits followed on the album Fresh, including Sexy is the Word and Skin to Skin. Television work has continued alongside the music, with roles across more than twenty Australian drama series and a long-running stage credit in The Vagina Monologues. She has also performed in the horror film Boar and toured in a stage production of Sleeping Beauty.
