Melissa Tranchita

Melissa Tranchita is a Perth vocalist with more than 20 years across musical productions, live bands and original work. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Drama from Edith Cowan University, which gives her a genuine grounding in acting and text as well as singing. She trained and taught for eight years at the West End Music Academy, where she became a founding member of the band Felix, writing and performing original material with them for 12 years and starring in their Miss a Thing video. These days she performs one to three times a week with her band Atomic, and she has coordinated and starred in two sold out Yeah the Girls tribute concerts as Shania Twain, Shakira and Scary Spice.
