About this act
Melo is a Sydney DJ chasing what she calls umami-rich rhythms, working through the deeper and more energetic ends of house and techno. Born and raised in South America, she brings percussion and soul into her mixes, and that's what separates the sets from the more clinical end of the genre. Rhythm-led rather than build-and-drop, and it suits a floor that likes to stay moving.
