About this act
Old New Orleans music, mostly from the 1920s to the 1940s, played by some of Brisbane's better jazz musicians. Melody Graves works two ways: the six piece Melody Graves and the Hokum Redemption, or the smaller Melody Graves Combo. Jazz, swing and blues, with the energy of a band that genuinely loves the era. They have played festivals, venues, events and jazz clubs across south east Queensland.
