Michael Michel

Michael Michel studied music in Cambridge and spent years at the piano in London, Cambridge and Sydney. The rooms tell the story: Brown's, Harriet's tea room, Town's and Gowns, the tea room at the QVB, and a long run of weddings and receptions. He sings as well as plays, which matters for cocktail hours where you want a familiar voice under the conversation rather than a jukebox. Jazz sits at the centre of it. He's based in Sydney and works the sort of events where the music should be noticed but never take over the room.
