Mid-Century Modern

A university assignment is where this Brisbane four-piece traces its roots: frontman Louis Hanley recorded four tracks to satisfy the coursework, and Mid-Century Modern grew out of that EP in late 2022. The band plays live around the Valley and keeps writing new material alongside that gig schedule. A debut single with the full lineup, called Horizon, is out on streaming services now. One person's coursework has turned into a full band writing together.
