Mimi J came from South Korea and found her feet in the Sydney and Eora scene, playing house music on vinyl at local raves and gatherings. The roots are in Chicago house, and the sets move through disco house, deep house and rave house, mixing the classics with newer records. Playing records rather than files gives the whole thing a different texture, and it suits the music she has chosen. Sydney based.
