About this act
Mandy Goullet came up through variety television, then took singing, dancing and acrobatic roles in the Jupiters Casino productions Starz and Galaxies. Lead parts in dinner shows followed at the Tivoli Theatre in Brisbane, Club Tropicana in Cairns, Paradise Follies on the Gold Coast and the Za Za Club in Japan, plus clubs, ballrooms and stadiums here and overseas. She has shared live television stages with musical directors Paul Grabowsky and John Foreman. The regular band is Shannon Marshall on trumpet, Jon Woodend on sax and musical direction, Trevor Beyer on trombone, Shane Calderbank on piano, Nick Woodend on bass and Ashley Higgins on drums. Swing standards, a few hot Latin numbers, and a cabaret streak Mandy calls Jazzaret. Good fit for corporate nights, themed events, weddings and venue residencies.
