Monochrome adapt to whatever crowd they're in front of, and the taste behind that is broad. Signed to Valiant Records, their debut single I LIKE IT went straight in at number 14 on the ARIA charts. The follow-up, Play It Twice, climbed to number 5 and stayed in the top 50 for more than six months, and it did well internationally too, reaching number 2 on the Beatport Hype chart and number 7 on the deep house charts. Chart results like that from a duo say the songs work outside the room as well as in it.
