Monsieur Diop chases the timeless record rather than the current one, and he's been at it long enough that there's no going back. Eclectic, a bit eccentric, and openly hedonistic about the whole thing. His approach to music works the same way his visual art does: let things happen, let them collide, and find the harmony inside the mess.
