Monty the Magical Adventure is a children's magician from Brisbane, Queensland.
A dragon and his apprentice are the whole premise here: Monty's apprentice searches for him, and a parcel of magical objects sent from around the world announces his arrival. What follows leans on panto-style comedy and heavy audience participation to track him down, built by Brisbane performer Rosanna Valentina as a family spectacular rather than a straight magic set. The show can be dressed for a Christmas booking, and Monty is also available for roaming appearances separate from the staged version. It's aimed squarely at family audiences, with the comedy pitched to land for both children and the adults watching alongside them.
