Comedy isn't the day job here, and that turns out to be the point. Mr Sikkant works in the corporate world, so he knows the room he's walking into: what lands with a sales team at the end of a long conference day, and what absolutely doesn't. He only takes on an event if he reckons he can do it justice. Perth based, and he'll travel for corporate functions, festivals, parties and weddings. For longer slots he'll bring two or three other local comedians along and split the night into shorter sets, which keeps the energy up better than one person carrying ninety minutes alone. A quiet enclosed room, a bit of a riser and light on the performer's face is all the setup he asks for.
