MZAZA are a Brisbane ensemble drawing on European, Middle Eastern, Jewish and folk traditions. Tony Preece of Big Orange Chair described them as passionate, infectious and haunting, reaching for Turkish, Bulgarian and Andalusian to explain the sound before giving up on words entirely.
