NB Dance

Natasha Baweja founded NB Dance in Melbourne, where traditional Indian dance meets modern movement in the choreography. The company has performed at the Moomba Parade and at the Holi Festival. Alongside performances, they run classes and workshops for every level, from people who've never danced to experienced dancers wanting to add Bollywood to what they do. The teaching method is Natasha's own, built around storytelling, which gives beginners a reason for each movement instead of a sequence to memorise. That makes the workshops work well at events, where guests have about twenty minutes to learn something and want to enjoy it, not pass an exam.
