NewWave builds its performances around the bands that shaped the new wave era. The repertoire can draw on Blondie, Duran Duran, Talking Heads, The B-52's, XTC, The Pretenders, Roxy Music and Joy Division. With enough preparation time, the group develops both the sound and visual presentation of the selected band, performing up to 4 songs from chosen acts. That format lets an event combine short sets from several new wave favourites rather than following one artist for the whole show. The concept can be adjusted around the client's selections and the occasion.
