Nigel Bell

Nigel Bell trained in animation at Walt Disney's Sydney studio, then spent more than 20 years drawing caricatures. From Brisbane he works events in person, at home or in a workplace, and online when a drawing is the gift rather than the entertainment. The pitch is simple: a stylised portrait of a guest, or their dog, done fast enough to keep a queue happy and good enough to keep. Businesses sometimes hand him branded paper, and the drawings then travel home and stay on the fridge. Weddings, corporate events, birthdays, anniversaries and private functions all work.
