Paul McCarthy performs as Nullibi, and the whole thing is built live in front of you. Guitar, drums, bass, harmonica and vocals go down as loops on the spot, no pre-recorded tracks anywhere, and what comes out sounds like a full band. Classic rock, contemporary pop, indie folk and a country edge. The clever part is the request system: your crowd pulls up songs on their phones from a deep list of covers and originals, so the set writes itself as the night goes. Duo and full band versions are there if you want more bodies on stage. Wollongong based. Needs power, brings everything else.
