Nupur Dance Group is a dancer from Sydney, New South Wales.
Manjusha De founded Nupur Dance Group in 1998 with cultural awareness and community in mind, and the troupe's style still reflects that founding aim: classical Indian dance sitting alongside the rhythm and colour of Bollywood. Lead instructor and choreographer Jinnie De develops the group's routines. The dancers participated in the Sydney Olympics opening ceremony in 2000, one of a long run of credits that also includes a Google Diwali party in 2019. Corporate functions, weddings, engagements and stage performances all sit within the group's usual bookings, alongside team-building and dance workshops for groups wanting to learn rather than just watch.
