Oompah!

Oompah mixes German beer hall music with Australian rock and pop, playing the whole set in an oom-pah style. Traditional songs such as Ein Prosit, Bayerisches Bierlied and Waldeslust can sit beside Khe Sanh, Down Under, Never Tear Us Apart and It's a Long Way to the Top. Lederhosen completes the Bavarian presentation. The band can rove through festivals and parties or take a fixed position on the main stage, giving organisers a choice between music that moves through the crowd and a more conventional concert set. Either way, group singing and a steady beer hall pulse are central to the performance.
