Gritty riffs, big choruses, and a room full of people who know every word. Origins of Oz Rock goes back to the pubs and backyards where Australian rock got loud, with songs from the Easybeats, INXS, Midnight Oil, Cold Chisel, Little River Band, Dragon and the Hoodoo Gurus. Sydney performer Greg Byrne fronts it, and he's shared stages with Jimmy Barnes, INXS, Aerosmith, Billy Joel, Diesel and the Angels. A powerhouse band sits behind him. The line up runs four to five pieces and the band works functions, corporate nights, weddings and pubs, travelling out of Sydney where needed. Loud and proud is the whole idea.
