Four players out of northern Brisbane, working alternative rock with jazz, funk and hip hop pulled into it, plus the occasional detour into ska, pop and roots. Panic Merchant write about broken hearts, superheroes, social change and, at one point, Labradors. The songs are their own, and the creative streak is the point rather than a claim.
