Papa Noel

Accordion and saxophone, jazz arrangements, and a stack of carols. Papa Noel is a roving and concert duo built for the Christmas run, taking traditional tunes and giving them a swing feel so people bop along instead of politely listening. The roving format means the music comes to the guests rather than the other way around, which works in a foyer or a shopping centre as well as it does at a seated function. Venues have included the Regent Hotel, the Airport Travelodge, the Old Melbourne Hotel, the North Melbourne Football Club, Melbourne Central, the Telstra Building and the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, plus a long list of shopping centres. Based in Preston.
