Paper Jane write original Americana and folk out of Castlemaine, full of country heartache, tight grooves and harmonies that lift. The songs are Australian stories about what happens after the first love and the happy ending. Buck Edwards sings, powerful one minute and exposed the next, with Dom Redfern on bass and vocals, Scott Jansen on gypsy fiddle and Michaela Burke on drums and wisecracks. They were Unearthed in 2013 off their first record and shortlisted for best regional act at the 2022 Music Vic Awards after their second album, Across the Reservoir.
