Paralympian and Human Rights Activist

Geoff competed at the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Paralympics and won gold in Sydney. He was the first person to go under 14 seconds in the 100m wheelchair sprint, and the world record was still his when he retired from competition. Across a ten year professional career he received an Order of Australia medal, was named Queensland Paralympian of the Year and made the finals of Young Queenslander of the Year. He now runs a social change organisation, Inclusion Moves, speaking on human rights and disability inclusion. On stage he pulls the sport and the advocacy into one narrative: integrity and honesty, diversity and inclusion, and a fairly blunt argument about determination.
