Parhelion started on the sideline of a junior hockey match in Lismore, in northern New South Wales, where a couple of dads decided the world could stand one more band. No grand origin story, and they're the first to say so. What came out of it is a covers act now working out of Brisbane, playing the songs a room already knows. Sometimes that's all a band needs to be.
