Paul Graves - Snowboarding Pioneer

Snowboarding wasn't always allowed on the mountain. Paul Graves was there for the fight, and his keynote is the story of how the sport started, how it got pushed back against, and what it took to make snowboards legal on the ranges. He plays exclusive original footage through the talk, so it isn't slides and anecdotes. The themes he draws out are passion, determination, and the strategies it takes to build not just a sport but an entire industry around it. Paul also works as an MC, and when he does he'll talk the format through with the organiser, collect the speaker bios, and meet each speaker before the event.
