No backing tracks. Everything you hear from Paula and Owen is being played in the room, which is why they can add a drummer and become a trio when a party needs the extra push. Paula Hunter is a classically trained singer, once signed with a Sydney label, and Owen Ward plays acoustic guitar with a long production background supplying crew for artists at the scale of U2, Madonna, Michael Jackson and The Rolling Stones. Between them, over twenty years in music. The set is a modern one given an acoustic reading, hits from the 90s to now, and they only pick songs that genuinely work stripped back. Riptide, Valerie, Wicked Game, Everlong, Perfect, Black Velvet, Dreams. Good for wine bars, vineyards, markets, hotels and weddings. They bring their own PA.
