Pearl

Three voices, three players, and everyone sings. Pearl is a Perth trio built around Sheona on lead vocals, Serge on keyboards and Phil on guitars, with vocals from all three, which is what lets them get at soul and Motown harmony properly. The set moves through classic soul, funk, R&B, disco and rock, mostly drawn from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Wide enough that most rooms find something they know. A trio suits a venue where a full band would be too much noise and a solo act would be too little.
