MC Penny Shaw founded Daisy Productions in 2002 and has written, produced and performed shows in Perth and regional Western Australia. The credit list runs long: the Maj, Perth Concert Hall and Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on one side, Broome Opera Under the Stars and Fringe World on the other, plus stints with the Perth International Arts Festival and the Perth Symphony Orchestra. Penny Shaw studied Human Sciences at Oxford University, later co-presenting Radio Fremantle's Arts Collage and hosting a podcast, Diary of a (teenage) Diva. A soprano duo, DivaLicious, is a separate string to the work: television appearances followed on Australia's Got Talent and The Voice, and the pairing has performed on stages from cruise ships through to the Sydney Opera House. Live singing gets folded into the hosting itself, lifting a key moment in a run sheet or leading a room through a singalong.
