Eight players, vintage cut, and a horn section that means it. Perth Great Gatsby Band takes the jazz of the 1920s and 30s and runs modern material through it, so a Beyonce hook or a Jackson 5 chorus arrives dressed in Prohibition clothes, and Guns N' Roses gets the same treatment. The line up is trumpet, trombone, sax, double bass, drums, keys, guitar, banjo and vocals, drawn from players who work steadily around Perth. It's built for themed nights above all, though corporate functions, private parties and milestone celebrations get the full effect too.
