Perth Salsa Trio

Irakere, Buena Vista Social Club, and the rumba that ran through the neighbourhood in Havana. That's the music these players grew up inside, and it's what the Perth Salsa Trio plays now, mixing traditional Cuban material with more contemporary writing. Between them the members have long track records in Perth bands, including a support slot for Buena Vista Social Club at the old Perth Entertainment Centre before it came down. The dance rhythms are the reason the group formed. Available for private functions, corporate events, weddings, venue bookings and special occasions.
