Peter Dickson

Peter Dickson started out in the jazz clubs of London as a teenager and moved to Australia in 1986. Eleven recorded works later, his playing fuses Oriental, Indian and Latin ideas into jazz guitar, and his touring has taken him through concert halls in Europe, North America, Japan, Asia and Australasia. He designs and handcrafts his own twin neck guitars to get the voice he wants, which says plenty about the approach. Live, the solo shows lean on virtuosity, humour and a strong stage presence in roughly equal measure.
