About this act
Pacific dance from across the islands, run out of Brisbane. The show is built from parts and you choose which ones. A conch shell welcome to open. Tahitian celebration dance driven by the drums, with a boys dance and solo dancers. Hawaiian hula, including the implement medley, where guests can get up and learn the steps. The Samoan siva show covers the taualuga, sasa and ma'ulu'ulu. There's a Maori section too, with poi dances and the haka. Then the finale brings dancers from every island together. Audience participation, photos with the dancers and Samoan fire dancers are all part of it.
