About this act
Guitars, bass, drums and a vocalist. Pop up Band keep the format simple and the songlist long, working through rock and dance favourites from the sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties, plus later material. The members have been playing in cover band line ups for twenty years, and the current group is a settled one with guest players brought in when a gig needs them. Sets get tailored to the function rather than run off a fixed list, and the band supplies all the sound gear including the PA. Expect April Sun In Cuba, Long Way To The Top, Proud Mary, Nutbush, Valerie, Walking On Sunshine and While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Melbourne based.
