Precision Percussion

A pit crew that plays car parts. Precision Percussion turn up in hats, ear muffs and bright orange overalls, pushing a transport trolley loaded with brake drums, bell housings, wheel rims, chrome grills, hub caps, plastic barrels and an empty gas cylinder, and they hammer precise industrial rhythms out of the lot. The joke is the race pit crew with nothing to service, so they banter with the crowd and try to get people dancing to celebrate a win that never happened. Every player comes from BATACUDA, the Melbourne theatrical percussion group, and they've toured that work widely at home and overseas. First seen at the Melbourne Formula 1 Grand Prix Ball.
