Pretzel Poem Project

A vegetarian crocodile. A possum in the roof. A gecko with sticky feet, a Russian hamster, and a few mac and cheese dishes along the way. The Pretzel Poem Project write songs for kids aged 6 to 11 that the parents and grandparents in the room end up enjoying just as much, which is harder to pull off than it looks. It's a Brisbane duo and a genuine collaboration: Frank writes the songs, Meryn writes children's books, and the stories come from that overlap. They've played festivals, and Brisbane City Council has booked them for library shows two years running. Good for birthday parties, school holiday programs and any event where the six year olds and the sixty year olds have to share a room.
