Fourteen years as a professional footballer, ten of them with the Brisbane Bears and Brisbane Lions before he finished up at the end of the 2000 season. Richard Champion, or Champs, has spent the two decades since as a speaker and MC, and he's good at the part that matters most, which is genuinely liking the people in front of him. The stories are inspiring and funny in roughly equal measure, with a few surprises worked in, and underneath them sits what he learned about being the best you can be inside a team. He's worked with some of Australia's largest corporate names and is just as happy at a small fundraiser in a regional hall. Brisbane based, works anywhere in Australia. Very little setup required.
