Pseudo Echo is a band from Victoria.
Pseudo Echo helped define the sound of 1980s Australian electro, starting with the gold-selling debut album Autumnal Park and its singles Listening and A Beat for You. The follow-up, Love An Adventure, went platinum on the strength of Don't Go, Living in a Dream and the title track. A cover of Funky Town then became the band's best-known moment, spending twelve weeks atop the Australian charts and reaching the top ten in the USA and UK. Brian Canham fronts the group as singer, songwriter and guitarist. Remixes and samples of the catalogue have been made by house and dance producers.
