Techno wielded like a serotonin sabre is Pup Riff's own description, and it's accurate enough. He weaves techno, progressive trance and vocals together harmonically into euphoric, emotionally charged sets with just enough bite to keep them from going soft. He's a resident at Brisbane queer and kink nightlife staples BootCo, Lab and Paw'd, a regular at Barba, and has taken the sound to Darklands festival in Europe. The sets are built for connection and release rather than showing off, and it shows in how a floor responds.
