About this act
R2 are a five piece playing rock and pop covers, drawing from the '70s through to now. The band brings a lot of collective experience and a real fondness for the anthems, which comes through in the playing: powerful vocals over a tight rhythm section. Queen, Creedence and AC/DC sit alongside newer material from Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish, so the set can pull in a room where the guests span a few decades.
