Deniliquin sits a long way from the big-city function circuit, and Rachael K and The Smoking Gun have built a working band around that. They cover the Riverina and travel further out, playing weddings and functions with a spread that runs blues, jazz, country, rock, soul, pop and funk. The point of that range is practical. Early in the night they'll sit back and play something for a room that's still eating, then push it into rock once people are ready to move. You can take their standard playlist or ask them to reshape it for your night. They bring all their own instruments and gear, and they want a sound check and a stage big enough to work on.
