About this act
Rachel K is a one woman band in the literal sense. Guitar, both lead and rhythm, plus banjo, keys and blues harmonica, with drum and bass backings underneath so a solo booking still fills a room like a full group. Twenty years of professional gigs sit behind the tight sound. Her repertoire runs from easy listening through Aussie pub rock, blues, reggae, country and newer hits, taking in INXS, Cold Chisel, Paul Kelly, Bob Marley, Van Morrison, Amy Winehouse, George Ezra, Johnny Cash and plenty more. Hundreds of songs, and requests learned with enough notice. She brings her own high powered PA, her own instruments and her own transport, and needs power, a table and cover from the weather.
