Raqs Sharqi (bellydancer)

Raqs Sharqi is the traditional dance of the SWANA region, and this Milperra based dancer performs it properly, with authentic costuming and music rather than a loose approximation. Solo shows are shaped to the event, whether that's a dinner, a celebration or a themed night, and audience interaction comes in where it suits the room. It stays family friendly throughout. Before the day there's a conversation about performance time, how long the set runs, dressing space and a sound check. Also available for dance workshops.
