Red Slim

Red Slim plays slide blues using whatever comes to hand: beer bottles, mobile phones, lighters, spoons. It sounds like a gimmick and it isn't, because the playing underneath it is serious. Sydney based, and recognised well beyond Australia for it. The audiences he pulls are unusually mixed, from blues purists and guitar obsessives through to headbangers and families, which tells you the show works on more than one level.
